In the caveman days, stress could literally save your life. If you were in a life or death situation your cortisol levels would spike giving you a sudden burst of energy to combat the situation you're faced with. But in today's society where almost everything has the capacity to cause stress, those increased cortisol levels are making us sick, physically and mentally.

Inspired by "The life-changing magic of not giving a F**K" I've decided that if I'm going to be truly healthy this year, the first thing I need to deal with is unnecessary stress. It's amazing how many people simply don't know what to do with themselves in a stressful situation. While these strategies won't limit the amount of stress you have in your life, they may give you a positive outlet to deal with things when the going gets tough.
