I'm not a writer...really.

Can't say that I'm a great photographer either. But I love both. Evolve has started as a way for me to express my passion for food, fitness and life in general. I spend my days working as an English teacher and while we are constantly trying to inspire others to express their creativity and almost forcing them to love reading..."But books are amazing, what do you mean you 'don't read?" Very little time is left to create something that I love.

When one of my co-workers was recently telling me about the five or so books he's publishing, as well as renovating his house, working full-time as a teacher, husband and father. I became;

1. Totally inspired- If he can do it, why cant I?

2. Completely overwhelmed- What do I want to do? Where do I start? How do I keep motivated? What if I suck?

If I could live my dream life, it would be on a block of land with a massive veggie patch, living sustainable, eating wholefoods, being at optimum fitness and spending my days writing, painting and creating. I don't know where teaching would fit in. I love to teach, but I also love to read, write, design, grow, learn and feel my best. What is the place for both in my life?

Evolve is my starting point. It's that little piece of happiness just for me...and maybe for a few interested others to share in my journey.
